Our shakes contain ingredients from plant-based sources including faba bean, peas, oats, rice, flaxseed and cocoa (in the Chocolate Flavour), a good dose of 17 vitamins & minerals, all combined with sunflower oil, MCT oil (or Medium Chain Triglycerides) from coconut, raw sugar, natural flavours, as well as sunflower lecithin and some gums for a wonderful, smooth mouthfeel in every sip!

Unfortunately, we don't offer single serve packs at the moment, but would love to be able to offer them down the track. pb nutrition meal replacement shakes contain protein at levels which can help reduce hunger and increase feelings of fullness for up to three hours when consumed as part of a balanced diet.

There are several ways in which protein can play role in hunger management- one being its effect on hunger hormones. Of course, there is not a one-size-fits all approach to nutrition and individual effects can vary. Factors that come into play with hunger levels include age, level of physical activity, intake of other foods and/or hormonal shifts.

Yes, it's definitely possible! You can mix it with your preferred plain plant-based milk or blend it into your favourite smoothie. 

A little grittiness may be present when you shake up your pb shake and start sipping straight away. For an extra smooth texture, simply wait about 3 to 5 minutes!

We recommend pb nutrition shakes for people 18 years and older due to the energy and protein content per serve. 

If you are wanting to provide pb nutrition shakes to your younger ones it’s ok to give them a smaller serve size as a snack amongst other great options like fruit, yoghurt, nuts, or veggie sticks with hummus! More info healthy eating for children can be found here, but for specific advice, we recommend speaking with a dietitian.

To keep the powder fresh, make sure that pouch is sealed and stored it in a cool, dry place such as your pantry. 

You can mix up the shake and keep in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Give it a good shake again before you drink it.

We are glad you love them so much! However, our pb nutrition shakes are not intended as a total diet replacement. At pb nutrition, we celebrate the importance of a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and this means incorporating a wide variety of core foods such as wholegrains, legumes, fruit, veg, nuts and seeds. Thus, have pb nutrition up to 2 times per day and, if you can, tuck into some other foods, too!

Hello mamas and mamas to be! Yes, our shakes are safe to consume during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We recommend having one pb nutrition shake per day, to ensure you're getting a balance of whole foods in your diet as nutritional needs differ during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Our pb nutrition shakes are an excellent source of fibre. If you transition from your standard food (or maybe you used to skip meals!) your digestive system needs a little time to adjust. Don’t worry, symptoms should ease within a few days as your gut flourishes and learns to handle the extra fibre efficiently. No scoop? No problem! If you don't have a pb nutrition scoop, you can either weigh out the powder or use metric measuring cups to measure out your serve! See the below table for weights and measurements.

If your scoop has grown legs and has gone missing, you can also opt to buy a replacement scoop at check-out when you place your next order.

Recyclability and sustainability of our products and being custodians of our environment is important to the pb team and has been considered in the choice of packaging. We have a broad team of food scientists, corporate regulatory and packaging specialists to review and determine the packaging materials used. Sustainability is a key criterion. The current packaging was chosen in order to maintain the integrity, safety and freshness of our pb nutrition shakes.

You may notice the Redcycle logo on the bottom of the pack. Unfortunately, this scheme has become unavailable in Australia for the time being, so we are on the lookout for another initiative to recycle soft plastics.

We are also paying attention to the satchels, scoops, and packaging material that keeps pb nutrition shakes safe and cosy during shipment. Currently, our satchels are made from 100% recycled materials. We are on the lookout for a more sustainable option for our scoops. In the meantime, we recommend you hold on to the scoop you receive with your first order and reuse this. We are planning to make the scoops an optional add-on in the future, to reduce the amount of plastic sent.
